On 15 August 2025, stained glass artist Thomas Denny, artist and sculptor Nicholas Mynheer, general editor of the Oxford Traherne Dr Julia Smith, and artist and poet Roger Wagner, met for a conversation in which we discussed the life of Thomas Traherne in Hereford and Oxford; and looked at some of our work which has been inspired by him. Our conversation was recorded as a YouTube video, and can be watched here.

Traherne has played a significant role in all of our lives. Tom Denny is known to many lovers of Traherne's writing as the creator of the magnificent Traherne windows in the Audley Chapel of Hereford Cathedral. Nicholas Mynheer has created sculptures inspired by Traherne's 'Salutation', and both the poetry and the art of Roger Wagner are deeply imbued with Traherne's vision. Julia Smith has worked as a scholar on Traherne's works for many years, and is completing a biography of him.
