Austen Saunders (Director of the Printed Books Census for the Oxford Traherne) gave the 2022 Jeremy Maule lecture to the Traherne Association. The lecture was held at Hereford on 7 October 2022.
Dr Saunders spoke about ‘Tories and Jacobites: Traherne and the Non-Jurors’. He shared his latest findings about Traherne's first seventeenth-century readers. This evidence will be published in Volumes XII and XIII of The Oxford Traherne, Roman Forgeries and Christian Ethicks.
